Hunter Price International, the go to partner for many high street retailers for impactful consumer products, has announced its most significant structure change since the business was founded 15 years ago, to underpin the next phase of its growth strategy.
Allana Holmes, who has been with the company for nearly three years as sales director for the home & lifestyle division, will take on the role of commercial director from this month. Allana will spearhead Hunter Price’s ambitious strategic vision, as it looks to continue its recent successes.
As part of company’s evolvement, co-founders, Jeremy Winburn and Josh Eden, will become co-CEOs. Former commercial director, Jeremy will work closely with Allana across all commercial departments, while leading Hunter Price’s global growth ambitions across Europe and the USA.
Under his new role, Josh Eden will continue to oversee and lead the group’s UK and international operations and financial activities as it expands into new territories across the globe.
In 2023, the Manchester based company had its most successful trading year to date, with the group’s sales exceeding £50 million, as a result of its commitment to its core product divisions.
Over the past two years, Hunter Price has been evolving and investing in its own brand propositions and licensed product portfolio, across Toys, Accessories, Lifestyle, Stationery, Arts & Crafts.
Allana has been instrumental in transforming Hunter Price’s licensed offer. In 2023, Holmes was shortlisted in License Global’s, The Influentials report, as one of the leading ‘Disruptors’ within licensing, acknowledging her dedication and commitment to inspiring the industry’s community.
Global entertainment & lifestyle brands including Barbie, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Peppa Pig, Squishmallows and Paw Patrol, are but a few of the world-renowned entities now turning to Hunter Price for impactful consumer products.
Hunter Price’s own brands have seen significant growth, with its sensory & fidget toy brand, Toy Mania and up and coming kids accessories and lifestyle brands, Love the Look and Cubs Club. All are seeing success in the market with great potential and high-profile customers including Smyths Toys, Tesco, B&M and Poundland.
With Hunter Price’s profile higher than ever within the industry, Allana, alongside the senior management team, will continue to refine its unique proposition in the consumer retail landscape across its own brands, license and exclusive customer brands.
Allana Holmes, commercial director at Hunter Price International, explained: “Over the past two years we’ve honed our overall market offer and played to our strengths, with the aim of futureproofing the business for the long term.
“I believe our relentless customer-first approach sets us apart. Supporting and sustaining our partnerships with a completing not competing mindset. We work alongside our customers as an extension of their teams to provide everything from design-led cross category solutions, to creative campaigns, which adds real value to their businesses.
“We have an ambitious growth strategy, with a road map which will build on our recent successes to deliver commercial impact, through ingenuity, originality and consistency, to increase our market share, particularly across our own brands.”
Jeremy Winburn, Co-CEO (commercial), added: “From day one Hunter Price has been an agile, energetic and customer focused business with real entrepreneurial spirit. That’s still the same today, that’s who we are!
“Over the years we’ve grown considerably – and grown up significantly! We still have the same brave and bold drive to be better and do better across the whole business. We continuously challenge and improve the way we do things, from our sales approach to our creative story telling.
“The message we’d like to send with the restructure announcement, to our team, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, is an unwavering investment and commitment to excellence in everything we do as we begin our new era.”
